Both my estate and now my hatchback are unfortunately SORN'd. Diesel estate won't start, and the hatchback has a knackered auto box.

Q2 - 2017 figures.
Total XM on the road = 284
S1 = 83
S2 = 201.
Total for Q2 - 2016 was 353, so an attrition of 69...20%.

Q3 - 2017 figures out now.
Total XM on the road = 275
S1 = 75
S2 = 200
Q3- 2016 = 347. An attrittion of 21%, though SORN have gone up a little. in my opinion, not many of the extra SORN cars are going to make it back on the road now.
Only two SD-turbo manuals left on the road.

XMs are also getting quite scarce in France. 5 years ago, I used to see them on a daily basis, both local cars and visitors. 2 years ago I would see them about twice a week, mostly visitors, and one or two other local cars. This year I can't remember seeing one other than my own, excepting at the local classic car show where there 2 or 3 (out of about 1000 classic cars).

Crossed France last September, and saw just one: a scruffy thing, towing a small trailer.
A week in Aquitaine/Lot this March, not one seen - although a good few Xantias, and plenty of ZXs.
Mike, is there a French equivalent of the DVLA's stats?
