Totals for Q3-2020 are.

Total taxed = 173. (17% attrition, year on year)
Series 1 = 58.
Series 2 = 115 .

SORN = 628.
Q4-2020 update:

Total taxed = 160. (14% attrition year on year)
Series 1 = 53.
Series 2 = 107.
Sorn = 641.

Q4-2019 reference includes the three additional S1 recorded as Lgv, not cars, by Dvla.

If you look on here...
Board Index > Members Cars > Citroen XM Register (all members please read)
you'll find a list of all the XMs that members here have told us about, including the car type and its location.

You can get yours added to the list by just making a post at the end of the thread.

DVLA publicly-released data does not go into that much detail, and DVLA's model-type can be a bit haphazard too.

Yeah interesting, if I’m reading correctly, very few estates, one earlier than mine. Less than 5?

Not many series 1 estates at all, they weren't made until 18 months after the saloon.

Being the largest capacity estate on the market, allied to high weight capacity, meant they have been used as work-horses, not occasional use lifestyle estate cars.

A member on here, Xmexclusive, once loaded an estate up with over a tonne of roofing tiles...
In France and Holland they were used as ambulances and high speed "loadrunners" for transporting daily newspapers.
I would love one of the Tissier, high capacity, six wheelers.

Hey just reminded me, a couple of youngsters rode past my estate two days ago, and I heard them exclaim, ‘wtf is that?!’ My mrs shouts out a Citroen XM! I didn’t think it looked that odd?….?😉

They still turn heads! You should see the looks that both of ours get down here - especially from small children and teenagers.
