Paul, I know you're a bit of a Pink Floyd fan...
How about this then?

My all-time favourite solo...
Wish I could play like that
I dream and perhaps if I practice enough... She surely inspires me...

I'm impressed too!
Funnily enough this last couple of weeks I've started getting into Pink Floyd a bit more.

Pleased you enjoyed it Matthew
Just noticed she has a heck of a mains hum on her amp when she cranks up the gain at the start...

I've been a fan since I was about 14 Kev and you know whenever I listen to any music I always end up listening to a bit of Floyd...
I was horrified the other day during one of our office quizzes when the question was posed about what band released an album called Dark Side of the Moon. Nobody knew! I was shocked to the core...

Even I knew that! Only reason was that triangle on the cover, I couldn't quite work it out when I first saw it!

What...even I knew that. What is wrong with the youth today!
I might have a brain that for some reason cannot retain anything to do with bands, but even I enjoy a bit of the Floyd.
Great video Jim.

I actually prefer Wish You wwere Here to DSOTM and also Division Bell. Animals was the first Floyd album I bought (on vinyl) and think it's great.
Full album.

I'm not really a guitar person though, but have to admit I think Buckethead is fantastic. Unfortunately Youtube compresses the sound but have a listen to these.

Shear jealously... however.. when i get my guitar this year then i will be practicing .. however strangley .. its not the studio stuff i want to do but set my sights SOOOOOOOOOOO over the top and learn the live solos.. you think the studio solo for comfortably numb is good well then.. listen to the 1989 live in Venice solo for it.. its on you tube.. 15 July 1989 live in Venice world tv premier.. numb is second to last song and the solo itself is 4.5 mins long.. its the best version in my opinion ...
don't start me on Floyd.. i have EVERYTHING even downloaded all the bootlegs from you tube!
