Active suspension video...not Citroen

Take a look at this YouTube video. It isn't to do with XMs or Citroens...but everything to do with an active suspension system developed by Lotus in the 80's.

It all sounds very familiar!...great shot of the esprit right at the end, it rises up like a citroen.

Did they ever produced cars with that type of suspension? The idea is brilliant but i am afraid it is as complicates as a citroen one, even more complicated possibly making it hard to repair, to much electronics. This sort of things will scare off customers and it will be hard to sell.

I am impressed of the fact that when that guy pushed on the front of the car the whole body of the car lowered at the same time. That was weird

I think it's possibly a good thing Lotus didn't put it into full production. Loads Of Trouble Usually Serious!
