Well, it could happen to anyone - glad no one's hurt.

Are you going to rebuild it or what will happen?

Hi

I don't think rebuilding it is an option - see the photo, I think the sum of the parts is probably worth more than the whole, it is to me anyway, I've already started canablising it to get the white one on the road.

Hi just to let you know a friend of mine was travelling down the TOLWORTH bye pass in an xm estate when he wasnt concentrating and looked up to see
the taffic stopped,he had a 100yds in which to slap on every thing the car had to break and skidded along smashing into the traffic, from 50mph,
He said the front crumple zone went, and the doors opened the same and he got out escaping injury.
I used to have a cx and yes it was as strong as anything, in a front end as the chassis members ended each side of the number plate.
I say big citroens are very strong, and heavy gauged in structured build.
But ive never seen a crash test report on the xm esp on you tube that has loads on the xm.
Ime glad your family are ok,my best wishes go to them from another member.Regards Steve.

Hi Peter.
I've been away at my caravan and out of touch and was sorry to see of your mishap, like all members I am glad all passengers were okay. It gave me a start though when I saw the number. I have N477YBL!
