I did think about doing just that (be good to arrive off the train, with a bag containing only the necessary tools and a strut top, pop the new one away and be off within the hour) but that was before I discovered how dear the replacement strut tops are.... Not that big on the colour either tbh...

Sorry, I had an idea it was a 2.0i TCT auto!! Well then no excuses - easy fix = go for it - 50p will secure...

Hmm, if anyone has a usable secondhand top that they could sell or even lend me to get it home, I'd be tempted (I think an XM on a trailer would make the BX cough rather...)

Why don't we ALL meet there and use it as an excuse for a club-xm bash get together and we can fix
it there and Jonathan can drive the car home - it's MOT'd (and taxed too isn't it!?) Doesn't need any

YOU CANNOT be fussy with XM colours, the engine has to be the FIRST choice!!

I had to suffer with this with my SEi V6, Green ! Urck, I thought, but lived with it as it was the PERFECT spec!

I like the colour a lot. Unfortunately the seller has a minimum price as the scrap yard will give him a figure for it.. :evil: ;)
