Off topic chat about anything you like. Doesn't have to be about XMs (though they will inevitibly come up!). You can even discuss non-Citroens :o in here!

Electric seats standard?

Post by Roland » Thu May 16, 2013 5:15 am

Hi guys,
We are about to go and test another XM here in France. A 1995 Turbo this time. Would this car have electric seats? It doesn't look like it has that control in the corner near the central console on each seat in the photos. Was this control ever moved anywhere else? Thanks for your info, Roland

Some poverty spec XM's had manual seats.
Extending lever front outer edge of seat base is the give away.

Poverty spec, I like that
I'll translate that into Japanese and use it on my Japanese friends

Poverty spec has always been one of my favourite phrases! I have always used it when describing the cars my father buys (as inevitably I am factually correct in the matter)!

On an XM note, it is interesting that UK cars seem generally higher-spec than those of some other countries.
