The bloody thing has now had it's exhaust split into two... it's the longest and therefore most expensive to replace section also :evil: The bicycle gets a reprieve once more.

Man, those exhausts. My entire exhaust system was like a hole cheese. Pretty quick fix with some exhaust fix tape and glass fibre paste though. I feel for you man.

Hi All

In looking through the Citroen manual yesterday for V6 faults I came across the diagrams for the early V6 and 2.1TD exhausts.
There was common items at the back end but the interesting bit was that the centre section of the 2.1 exhaust was shown with an equal pipe size butt joint with sleeve section held in place by two large pipe clamps.

Yeah, I was looking yesterday at a spare front pipe I have from an early 2.1td, it has the front silencer then a sleeve joint to connect to the intermediate pipe & box.

Did they ever make 2 of these the same?
