Ive put this on FCF, but depiste more traffic, always get LESS responses.
So, Im asking I need to buy a set of drill bits, need to be GOOD AND STRONG, but not too expensive. Im fed up of buying thse BlueSpot cheepies, that do one turn and go blunt, or snap..
I was thinking B&Q bits prehaps? Advice, Experiance???
Cheers

We talking bits for a standard chuck or sds?
I got a set a while back from screwfix when on offer and they have lasted a fair while, especially the 5.5mm bits as they take a hammering when I abuse them

sure they are only masonry bits but I use them on everything including metal sometimes without much issue

A local fixings and tool stockist will probably be the best bet.

Buy online. The retailers you suggest only stock rubbish.

I can remember Dormer drills from when I was a kid, good stuff. I would go with ebay, I get practically everything from there.
