Joking aside though, the camera pre-scan thing to predict what surfaces are coming up is interesting and that kind of thing would have been the natural evolution of Hydractive / Activa IMO, if it wasn't being binned...

Yes, it probably would have been. Wonder what gubbins actually drives/powers this suspension - fluid, gas or mechanical?

Good fun, too, if the cameras 'see' an obstacle/undulation that isn't actually there (think about it...).
Need to keep the 3D pavement artists well clear.
Shouldn't mock, though.

It is a oleopneumatic setup, not dissimilar to the C6, but adjusts each corner height depending on the road surface.


Mercedes have been a long term user of Hydropneumatic suspension.
