My brother in law is looking around for a new car to replace his bmw

Its hard to see but is it the green one that knocked about on ebay a while back and kept being re listed?

Surprised he has not answered with full history and photos as its been posted over ten minutes now.

While I take the mirth as it is meant to be, I always appreciate Richards for sale posts as he is so good at capturing the relevant information, as a result of which I am sure we haven't seen this car on here before. Oogly-googly on the reg number doesn't bring up any other results but this thread.

John, I do go out (occasionally and/or miss things) and as Will has pointed out, using the reg. number nothing comes back in the search results on the forum or even with my further searches on ''Flea-bay' using the 'filtered completed listings' also came back with zilch !

There are now more SORN and pre SORN stored XM's than on the road ones.
A good few of these will have been off the road in one ownership for many years.
Where individual XM history has been previously published there is only one reliable source on here.

I think Richard did, the rest of us did...which raises a good point.

What about Richard compiling a register of all known XM. I know Matthew started one, but it hasn't been updated for a long time. From now on I will make note of all reg numbers of any I see off the road and the location, so if they do appear back on the road, we have some history.
