Who Secured the Strut Tops C/W Legs, 3 - Off (E-bay) ?

As title listing spotted F/S a few days ago, (But as I had an interest in them being the Larger 2.5 TD type, I refrained posting), but as there now sold I thought I'd make the posting

Anyhow even though what I thought was a reasonable amount bid, I still got outbid

No info on which side fitments they were, however two looked quite healthy albeit not a pair as the 'Heads' have a different form !

So for £68 all in for three units, was still a very reasonable price especially if one was in desperate need of them ?

So good luck to who ever secured them if there a forum member (Unless they've gone to the German E-bayer who made an enquiry on them) ?

As far as the strut heads were concerned two reasonable looking passenger side ones and a manky drivers side.
Advertiser gave no indications or detailed photos to assess real condition.
All 3 were pre 1997 type strut heads with long gaiters.
I was not certain that the middle one was actually from a 2.5 as the strut nut did not look wide enough across the flats.
My valuation was £10 each for the heads as only fit to refurbish and £2 each for the leak off pipe clips as reuasable.
Struts were of no value to me so I added 75p to the valuation and bid manually with 10 seconds to go.

That middle one is a very early strut head, note the straight boss, whereas the other two have stepped bosses.

XMX. If you are interested I know where there are a couple of 2.5TD cars going cheap, not a million miles from you. If I had the time and wanted a 2.5, I would have one myself.

Be warned I will be putting stuff up on e-bay soon, try and empty the garage out a bit so I can get my car back in there, so if you see some going up on e-bay you will know its me

It as been DM, sold a bit also to the members on here, Norman and John come round often (not so much Norman now that he moved), I will all ways get members to this site first choice
There is bits I am looking for like a front windscreen and 1 front black leather seat
