Early V6

Post by MTXM » Tue Jun 24, 2014 1:07 pm

What about this for a pristine example of an early V6 and an unusual colour too!

I love that... WOW! :D That colour is back in trend on modern cars. So different and suits it very well indeed. I reckon it would have looked even more unusual if it had very dark brown leather interior. ;)

Lovely car, and I normally can't stand that odd brown colour.

There's a very nice silver 2.0i one in the pictures as well.

I think the colour must be Graphite Metallic, which I do not recall seeing on an XM before! Regards, Matthew T.

Isn't it just   I just hope we don't see any other 70s colours making a comeback.. Avocado anyone or how about a whole plethora of horrible BMC colours Especially baby-poo yellow

Lovely car by the way Matthew, the colour makes it looks very classy indeed :D

The original Renault Twingo managed to keep alive a whole series of yukky and challenging colours, despite being a real fun car to run.
Interesting too to see BMW now offering X3s and X5s in the same appalling metallic horse-poo brown, first seen on the Dacia. Some folk just aren't bothered, obviously, by residual values. Mind you, you don't get any more "residual" than that brown . . .

That is a gorgeous colour, and although I agree dark brown leather would be the part, I think a tan or fawn leather would suit as well.
