Ive been patiently waiting for this job to come around....it was dropped off this evening by its owner for a full on going over

Its a green mk2 estate which is being cleaned up ready for the xm rally so it can be shown with pride.

Ill post up the pictures once its finished but tonight ive given the car a good inspection and there is plenty to be done

Ive got the car until saturday evening and the owner wants not only the paintwork perfecting, but also the td engine bay minting up....

Ive quoted 3 days to get the car done, but these evenings suddenly are getting dark really early so ive got a challenge on.

Tonight i only had time to clean up the wheels as i had to put Jack to bed so with the amount of work that needs to be done, it looks like im going to have to put in a morning shift between 6am and 7am aswell as the evenings, so by saturday i just have the paintwork left to do.....

The things i volunteer myself for On the positive side, the paintwork only has one really visible paint chip on it...sure its covered in micro scratches etc, but ill get all those out so it should look pretty new once its finished

Is it as bad as my XM on the outside or worse Vince lol

Its all done now and the owner picked it up yesterday and was very impressed with the result....

You will all see it at the rally next weekend anyway

I didnt get any decent photos of it unfortunately due to time and lighting when id finished it, but ill whack a page up for it this week with what i took.

The paint came out flawless

Deffo not like mine with it's peeling roof lacquer then lol
