Look what I bumped into the other day in Arromanches, Normandie.
Not one but 2 XM's in front of a French pub selling the famous black stuff that supposedly is very good for you
As with all, some hate it and others love it.
Not that I went in, but I've never had a decent pint of Guinness abroad.
I myself, prefer the berline

Good spot Jaap, as Peter says, estates seem rare there now.
Regarding the black stuff, they say the further from Ireland it travels, the worse a pint you will get.
I don't drink it so I have no basis for comparison

My guess is you've never been to Japan.

Not that I can recollect

Are you telling me we've got kegs of Guinness on A320's straight to Tokyo into the Irish pubs there??

I never knew Japanese drank Guinness but having said that I do remember Japanese eating raw herring in Amsterdam with tomato ketchup
