This should be it Vince. I haven't used it on my Mandarin car as the silver trims are not bad, plus I haven't got enough!! . But on my grey XM the tape worked well and showed no signs of peeling off. Make sure everything is degreased in the usual fashion ect ect. You'll have to slightly trim it with a very sharp Stanley knife.
It wont go round the bumper trims. I have tried and it looks bloody awful! I have an idea for this though and thats to use the chrome vinyl wrap used to wrap whole cars. That will stretch round and could look quite good. I would love to try with some off cuts one day.

oh dear. It's not in the Irish Sea is it?!
This stuff is very easy to apply. It is thicker and doesn't ripple as badly. It also is designed to be used on jet skis, so it is very resistant to rain. My cars live outside and the chrome tape was on the car for over a year with no peeling.
Also, there is plenty on the role to redo if you do mess up. I think you could do the whole car three times.

Does it fit perfectly in the gap that the chrome stips sit in?? For example any need to remove them from the car at all??
