Citroen Paris Showroom!

I am sure many will have seen photos of this facility on the Champs Elysees, which I could not resist visiting on our recent family holiday. The purpose-designed building is certainly very impressive and imaginative, although I was a little disappointed by the current display that comprised a selection of current models plus a rally car. I had hoped for a little more heritage, which only received a cursory nod through some shop merchandise and guess what nothing on the XM! The full-height slide was closed to the frustration of our children and I was unable to work out how the cars are inserted and removed! Regards, Matthew T.

Very nice Matthew. I have yet to visit C-42, but it does look amazing. Pity the content wasn't varied, but the building itself is impressive enough. Will an XM ever grace a stand in there??? Maybe when the car is 30!

You can buy a nice set of stamps for La Poste. XM is featured amazingly.

Many thanks Russ and here's hoping for 2019! Do you have any photos of the stamps? With regards, Matthew T.

Those stamps are pretty cool :)

Im surprised Matthew too at the lack of heritage models on display. I know they have had them as we've probably all seen pictures of those stands with heritage models on them....Funnily enough, a couple of days ago i too was wondering how they put cars on and off there...All i could imagine is that each layer drops down on itself until it reaches the bottom and perhaps through into the floor? and then as each platform is loaded, it then rises up so the one below it can be loaded etc until its full up and at full height?

Did it look like that was a possibility? If not then im stumped also :P

Certainly looks very grand but I tend to keep away from the areas where there is a lot of traffic - you can get that easily enough over here.
