undertray fixings

Post by Dean » Sat Feb 28, 2015 6:06 pm

Just done a couple of searches, can't find anything so............what is used to fix the engine undertray in place so far as fittings in the subframe, the are rectangular cut outs in the subframe so do I just fit cage nuts or are there specific fixings? I've seen some stainless cage nuts (M6) and ive got some M6 wing bolts that I was eying for the job or do the originals use a plastic expander plug?

Hi Dean,

The subframe had captive nuts in certain locations.

These are handy though :-)

Hotlinking is theft? In what way? If anything, had they not sabotaged the link it would have made them more business but having seen this I'm now making a mental note to never use that site for any future purchases just based on how arsey they are over a simple link. What was the original item you suggested as handy Robert? I'll have a look on ebay and try to find some on there if I ever need some :)
