To make it harder, what about XM's in British TV and film only. Abroad is too easy!

Yes, I've seen the famous chase scene from "Ronin" - great fun!

Still enjoy classic Rovers on film: The Man Who Haunted Himself, Smiley's People, plenty of George Gently, Foyle's War. Somewhen in the '70s, my dad loaned his 1947 Rover 16 Sports Saloon to a London film company for a weekend's shooting. They asked if it was ok to remove the small rear window for filming, on condition everything was put back perfectly. Never did find out what she appeared in!

I have previously posted 'Brassed Off' and as I recall the car in which the coal mine manager is chauffeured appears twice in the movie. Although the setting is supposedly 1992/3 a 1995 (year of film) model appears!

Well the tv shows I know to add to Matthews film are,

Bergerac... Many episodes.
French Fields... Many episodes and included Peugeot 605 and Renault 25
I believe Taggart
All about George... With a mk1 swapping to mk2 dark green estate
As time goes by.. Background

Another UK film is Jack and Sarah with Richard E Grant and a dark green mk1 estate.

I am sure there are many more, but these are the ones I can at least remember. I watch too much telly....

Has anyone noticed the continuity error in Ronin? The car chase goes on for so long the S1 XM becomes an S2

Most modern remake films are rubbish. I saw Robocop (2014) recently. A pale immitation of the original film.

On another note, went to see "Mustang" a couple of weeks ago. Very good...but no XM's...
