That really is a cracking colour - looks the same as the car that was on 'wheeler dealer' a few weeks back (probably recorded 10 years ago though!) where dealer boy buys the LHD DS from france - same colour.

Says you, after posting your polishing work on the XM?
That colour though, suits the car so well and in the "after" pics the shine looks so deep you could drown in it!

Thanks guys, It was a pleasure to work on and the guy had a plum and custard 2CV under a cover next to it....he will want that doing he said at some point...
What was good about working on this DS was how solid and perfect the body was. It had been restored in 2009 and was done properly. The other DS Pallas i did some time ago, the black one looked amazing when it was done, but it really wasn't a solid car like this one and you could see it needed alot of work beneath the surface.
Ive posted this and some other stuff on the Citroen car club facebook page and pitched for an early cx or gs / ami to work on offering a good deal to do the job as I really want to do one, but Ive got no bites...a shame really as I would be in my element doing one of those models
