I've been looking at TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems) lately; the kind that comes with 4 sensors, that you fit to the tyre-valves, and a small LCD display.
Anyone using such a system?
Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance
Justin

Re: Anyone using TPMS ?
I bought a kit for about £100 about 6 years ago.
Still in box, waiting to be fitted...
I'll probably put it in the grey series 1 as I attempt to restore it.
This type requires the tyre to be removed as the sensor sits inside the rim. Supposedly this is more reliable than the screw into the valve types, albeit much more expensive.
They've fairly came down in price, I saw one for about 40 quid recently. I think the quality will have improved over time.
I know some of the OEM valves of this type suffer from corrosion and begin to leak air as they get older, I don't know if this happens as much with the aftermarket ones.
