Malcolm aka Citronut

Post by Dean » Mon Jun 08, 2015 9:49 pm

This was on the FCF and thought I would copy it over as Malcolm is a regular here also.

Just been informed by Chris Salter that my good friend Malcolm has been admitted to hospital with acute leukemia. He went to his doctor earlier in the week with some bad bruising and was immediately refered to hospital where he was put straight into intensive care where they nearly lost him. The next few days will tell. I was only speaking to him a week ago and he sounded his usual cheery self. Fingers crossed he will make a speedy recovery. My heartfelt best wishes to him and his family.

Andy

Think we should join the fcf boys in wishing Malcolm a full and speedy recovery.

Certainly should support Malcolm. His knowledge and helpfullness is ony exceeded by his typing!

Do we know which hospital he is in? It would be good to send him a card or similar?

OMG that's such a shame....and a shock. Malcolm was one of the first friendly faces I met when I started attending shows. I hope he makes a full recovery soon.

I agree on the card idea....It would be nice for him to know how much people support him.

If you want I can add you to our update list of how he is getting along". I accepted this offer, and got permission to update the forum.
Thougt i would keep it copied across for those not on the FCF.

I only just saw this, passed it by earlier in the week for some reason.

That's really shocking news about Malcolm, he's a really nice guy and has gone out of his way many a time to help out fellow Citroen owners.

Thanks for letting us know Dean.

I think a card or something is a very good suggestion if anyone knows where we could send it.

Like everyone else I wish him a full and rapid recovery.

Ciarán
