As I recall the Premiere is a Series One or Y3 model produced around 1992 prior to introduction of the 2.0i turbo, therefore I am a bit mystified by yours being registered in 1994 and a turbo! Whatever engine you have it should not be a problem to find exhaust parts and I suggest RSJ Auto Factors on this link:

Please let us know how you get on.

Hi Matthew et al,
Just a postscript to say I ended up buying the exhaust cat from the Ebay seller in the link in my earlier post. Very good service, part delivered next day £58 all in. Fitted it today and so far so good, thanks again to everyone who responded. :D
Cheers
Peter

Hi All,
Back again on this old post but this time I'm now looking for the rest of the exhaust system from the Cat backwards i.e front and middle silencer sections plus the back box and tail pipe as all these are about to give up the ghost exhibited by finding the nylon horsehair packing from inside the boxes is now being expelled and poking out the tail pipe!

Looking online this Product No: CNXM20 1008B looks like it may do the job if I only knew for sure the Citroen part numbers in the drawing are compatible with my vehicle, the bits I need in the drawing are CIT3045, CIT3026 and CIT6063

https://www.onlineautomotive.co.uk/car- ... ust-System

Anyone by any chance happen to know the various Citroen part numbers for the three sections I need? Of course I will try and check with the seller when they open tomorrow but would like a second opinion if possible!

Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter

There are a couple of variations for the 2.0i hatch exhaust system.
Can you post your VIN number to nail the correct one?

Hi Peter,

This should cover your system (two slightly different front ends, w/ or w/o cat, but back boxes are the same)...

An extra '4' crept into your VIN after the Y3.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for this, unfortunatley this is proving to be far more problematical than I expected because none of the exhaust fitters where I live (West Sussex) are able to source the rear silencer/back box and the part no's in your drawing draw a blank if I search online!

Cheers
Peter

Peter,

Bosal (OE manufacturer) are showing the tail-box as available in their current aftermarket catalogue...
http://www.bosal.com/en/catalog/exhaust ... 3/SYS01254

Catalogue front page...

Shouldn't be too difficult to find a Bosal stockist.
Horsham Brake Service (now in Nightingale Road, Horsham) was an ancient supplier of mine, but that was hundreds of years ago.
