French Car Forum
Hi All
I'm having problems getting in the above forum - it looks like only part of the site is available. I can't login, the page does not pop up.
Has something happened to this site or is it something at my end?

Re: French Car Forum
I do find sometimes that it hangs, best thing to do is disconnect and try again, often works then.

Re: French Car Forum
It doesn't matter what I do I only get the top banner with the 3 logos etc & nothing happens when I click the Login or Registration.
I've tried opening the site from my 'favorites' list and also by just going to Google and typing French Car Forum but both just give me the same entry screen.

Maurice what browser are you using, does the site load if you try it in a different browser?Dylanfan wrote:It doesn't matter what I do I only get the top banner with the 3 logos etc & nothing happens when I click the Login or Registration.

It may be a cache / corruption issue.
This is a useful site where you can check if a website is up or not:
http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Simply type the site address in the text box and hit enter.

Re: French Car Forum
As a site admin of FCF, I am interested in seeing your problem resolved. There have been no other reports of similar problems, and there has been no reconfiguration of the site software for several weeks, so I would tend to support the view that there is something amis with your browser configuration, or maybe your ISP has a routing issue with the FCF address (it does happen occasionally).
Can you access http://www.bxclub.co.uk/forum/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which is hosted on the same server and is running a very similar software configuration?
Have you tried using a different PC or browser?
If you want more support, please send an email with as many details as possible to: forum@frenchcarforum.co.uk

Re: French Car Forum
Thanks all
I use google (not the Chrome version) and when I click on the 'login', only the top section of the site is visible BUT there is a Google search box within the page.
I'm not registered at the BX club site BUT that does not allow me to register - If I click Register or Login there is nowhere to enter any information!
It has to be something at my end but I'm a bit green where computers are concerned.

Re: French Car Forum
Ok, I think that you have a browser incompatibility issue. Can you tell me exactly which version of browser you are using, and which operating system (Android?).
I would recommend that you try any current version browser (Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari etc).
If you don't know how to check in the browser itself, go to the page: https://www.whatismybrowser.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and post the results form there.
You could also try turning OFF javascript support (as a work-around).
