:P Apparently so... A story in Practical classics about a Citroen dealer in Lincolnshire, NT Shaw of Louth, has restored an AX GTI, using where possible genuine new old stock parts. Looks amazing, and they keep it on display in the showroom. It's not for sale!
Best bit is, they have also restored a S1 XM. But no more information. Argh... I want to know more..
More to the point, does anyone on here know anymore about it?

Never thought I see the day a Citroen dealer restoring old 90's Citroens... ;)

Well done Dean. :) it's a bit of a confused mk1.... Still I'm liking the effort and as you say, first port of call for anything unusual parts wise.

I seem to recall that Tim Spencer of CCC fame organised a foray there and came away with a lot of BX parts and I have noticed they do regularly list items on ebay! I am occasionally in that part of the world so I must call in and see what they have. With regards, Matthew T.

I contacted hem recently regarding a CV boot. Unfortunately not the correct one, but they were helpful.

That XM is a bit confused and it would have been worth them going the extra mile to make it perfect, as they have obviously spent money anyway.

It needs S1 Grille, the bumper rubbing strips should be black plastic, the inserts chrome and the wheel trims are a bit of a dark shade of grey and have black rings, not dark grey. All in, a decent effort, though.

Hi Liz,

A full resto I think is a bit drastic! Shall we take up Jaap's old Turby D blog and post the issues the car has there. Then we can help you out.

To the members cars section......

Hi Liz,

It's good to see you here, I Hope things are OK.

Does Turby-D need any real work doing to it, it was a regularly running car.
