Citroen XM Forum

It recently occurred to me that part of the appeal of the XM for me is due to a late childhood obsession with fighter planes and I wondered if others have made this connection. I also attach a selection of my favourite jets, which no doubt others of a certain age can name! With regards, Matthew T. PS. I'm not sure about it being a plane, but think it would make an excellent submarine.

I think definitely plane Will, with the pointy nose, sharp incline of the bonnet and windscreen, wrap around glass and upward slant around the base, plus the blunt rear end and spoiler. Just need to loose those wheels and fit a couple of jet engines in the boot, with some wings of course!! Regards, Matthew T.

I did do a floating XM with Bertone standing behind it. It's somewhere about.

There is something Stingray about it.... It would make a great submarine. But then I think Stingray was influenced by the DS really.
