Site Layout

Post by jorgy » Wed Apr 15, 2009 7:28 pm

Hi all from me as well, I wish this site is long lived!!

I thought of starting a thread where we could be posting ideas of how to organise and improve the website.

So here's what I'd like to see:

- a section "Members' Cars", where we could post photos etc of our cars, and,

-a section "Documentation", to upload all the technical info that make up an XM.

Thanks again to Ciaran for this amazing contribution!!

cheers
George

Yes a blogg section would be good, everyone likes to show off their new toys :D
Also what about either a common faults and fix or a buyers guide sort of thing, details of what to look for when buying for newbies what do you think?
Of course there has to be a self help section but i think it should be kept religiously clear of waffle so that we end up with an easy to search help section.
I think although club xm is/was an exellent forum i had many a frustrating time trying to search for info i knew was there but i just couldnt find.

Great idea George, I'd been thinking of starting a discussion on the layout and sections, what's there now was just something to capture rough areas, if you can think of any additions / changes, please feel free to instigate a suggestions / requests thread, and we can collate everyone's responses and maybe have a poll or something to decide whats the best way to do it.
