I reached a milestone (or kilostone) with the Germany car earlier this morning on the school run when the speedo clocked up 200,000km! Here are some before and after photos! Regards, Matthew T.

Our 2003 RAV4 hit 200,000km this week too. Coincidence.
Like the fuel gauge, as well - quaint old gallons!

So what will it's reward be?

I guess I asked for that Will, while 124K miles sounds much less serious! The gallon fuel gauge is on the rhd car Chris and the reward will be a well earned rest later this month Russ as the tax becomes due! With regards, Matthew T.

Indeed, I think Matthew forgot to mention that his kids attend school on the moon

I have that gallons fuel gauge in my RHD 1990 SEI as well. Was it only in earlier cars I wonder?

I may be wrong Ciaran, but I thought all rhd Xms had fuel gauges in gallons and mine certainly do! Regards, Matthew T. PS apparently the distance between the earth and moon is nearer 400,000km!

I need to check, but am confident both mine are marked in gallons, 9 being half way and 18 being full tank.

9 and 17 is standard Will! Based on some quick research I have just done the official change was 1995, so later XM may have ltrs? Regards, Matthew T.
