High flying V6!

2.5 has it, too. Acts as an air extractor at the base of the radiator pack, increasing the air flow through the radiators, and allowing air 'rammed in' to leave.

Always impressed by the V6 exhaust arrangement, Matt, not just by the pipe size, but the pipe routing on the lateral box. Presume this modifies the exhaust pulses, to give a better (quieter?) note at the tailpipe?
