Nice resume of Xm and their position both at launch and today.

A German video, but a strange spec Xm.
The car is a 2.1 Atmo diesel, base spec, with manual seats and mirrors, no rear electric windows, no digital message display, a very spartan centre console and basic sun visors, but interestingly it does have rev counter, full climate control, rear adjustable headrests and the cost option of Hydractive.

Just goes to show, everything was an option. Uk specs were set at pre-selected packages, (base, S, SE) but in Europe you could take a very basic car and tick whatever options boxes you wanted.
Citroen Uk should have taken note of this and offered climate control instead of electric sunroof. Better on an Xm for wind noise, appearance, reliability, no leaks and importantly, headroom.

The insistance of a sunroof was terrible. .. but i think up market was still shy of ac .. but even now many UK car owners with ac still have the opinion of thinking ac is for cooling in summer only, and only ... not realising its a fantastic demister too..

Resurrection of a 550,000 Km Xm, after a 2 year lay-up in the corner of a garden.
Just how bad will it be?
