On Holiday in France

Currently in holiday in the South of France, staying just outside of Lorgues. Not one classic Citroen spotted so far, apart from a couple of Meharis. I did, however pick up a copy of 'Chevronnes' in the local intermarche, with an article on XM V6 24v. I have uploaded the relevant pages of it is of interest to anyone. Your French will have to be good, though ;)

Many thanks for that Chris and have a great time in the sun (hopefully!) On our 2,000m drive across north and east France we only saw one S1 XM on the road and about six S2 cars and numbers of BX were also very low. Do keep us posted on any interesting sightings! With regards, Matthew T.

Do you think anyone would notice if you jumped intot eht SM and drove it back to Blighty, sharpish...

That DS Pallas is rather nice too.

Oh, how these cars survive where it's a bit drier and sunnier.

No problem at all! Definitely a case of being in the right place at the right time. It has been a great day out. I haven't yet seen one XM yet, though. Neither at the show or on the roads.

Fantastic Chris, thanks for taking the time to post these so everyone can enjoy.

Like Will says, look how nicely the cars age when the climate allows it.

Almost makes me think about upping sticks and moving over there!

Enjoy your stay, looks brilliant.

What's really annoying is that if the damn Yanks and rebelling French hadn't been so determined to be anti-British we could happily pop across the channel and snap up these beauties.
