Which HID Upgrade Kit?

Post by chillmax » Sat Oct 06, 2018 5:31 pm

Hi All

I have looked through the discussions about changing over to HID/ Xenons, in fact my previous XM had them & I was very pleased, but I didn't do it, so, I'm just looking for a link to the right set for the XM, anyone know a nice set?

Pic shows them on my last XM, I really liked them!

Thanks JJ

That looks like a good example unacceptable scatter and dazzle.
As detailed in many posts here, XM's headlights are not designed for HID use, and MoT testing will now fail vehicles where these were not originally installed.
Lots of reasons not to go ahead with such a conversion.

Ray's projector solution, on the other hand, looks rather correct. That doesn't use the original lens but its own projector.
