Useful Parts - maybe

As I am planning, or is it hoping, to keep my XM for another ten years (my wife will say I said that many times before about previously owned vehicles ), I try to pick up seemingly useful spare parts on auction here in Japan.
Bought a new water pump last year. Recently a bunch of electronic controllers. A heater flap motor. And the latest 2 Speedline alloy rims, although my model is equipped with Ville de Monte Carlo wheels! I like both styles.
I got the rims for just 6000 yen. I could buy a complete XM for parts for 50k yen, but I don't have the space like some of you guys who have a couple of spare XMs

I think it's wise to stockpile what you can when you can, with the proviso that you know that if a bit on your car breaks you can guaratee the required replacement part is not in your stockpile .

I prefer those rims to the Monte Carlos, easier to clean too.
