I have a 2000 SAAB 9-5 Aero 2.3 auto... fitted with a BRC LPG system running twin gas tanks, one in the wheel well one behind the rear seats giving a range of 500 miles... This was a car i totally fell in love with and used daily until i really needed an estate car and there was the problem, i stood the car up i couldn't bear to sell her and there she has stayed ever since... Brakes are now seized (well the rear ones had last time we moved it ).... it needs recommissioning... It even has a sell able registration ... would anyone be interested for a low price i need her gone

Maybe... if you can supply any pics and confirm location I might well be interested. Over 10 years since I last had a Saab.

I’m currently running a 4.0 Jeep Cherokee with lpg and tiny fuel tanks so max range is 150 miles on each.

Ok thanks, I have family in the area so could possibly tie in collection with a visit.

Please could you confirm the kerb weight of the car too, needs to be less than 1500 kgs ideally, otherwise i’d need to use a different tow car.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for the pics, how much do you want for it? Drop me a private message if you don't want to discuss openly.

No urgency from my side but they all fair better indoors over the winter.
Chris.

I’d have probably needed to view the car before agreeing to spend that much but my Mrs has bought two cars today already so will have to leave the Saab, sorry!!

To misquote Lady Bracklesham:
"To allow one's wife to buy one car in a day could be described as a misfortune; to allow two in a day looks like carelessness..."

Only in jest, of course! ;)
