any help with shipping consolidation parts?

Hi,
I need to buy a few bits and bobs for the XM (cambelt kit, drop links and maybe some trim stuff, if I can find them) - obviously the shipping is the killer due to where I am. (and if I were to buy here, I'd probably get hit with 3 times the UK/EU price based on previous experiences)
Would anyone be able to help out consolidating and send out in one box by any chance? Can compensate for the trouble, obviously.
Cheers.

Oops, sorry - I thought it was on my sig.
Yes, Auckland, NZ.
Hmmm, I always wondered to myself, when will I stop being such a tight ass and accept the unfairness that is life...
Clearly things haven't changed much after a decade of Citroen ownership
This ebay cambelt kit is less than NZ$200 including shipping to NZ, so it's I suppose I can live with it...

Have you tried the NZ post redirection service? https://www.nzpost.co.nz/tools/youshop

I am sure that I used it a couple of years ago for some car parts from ebay, but I can't remember what they were...

Yes I've used the service a few times both from the UK & the US.
It's quite expensive, especially from the UK as they don't allow consolidation, which defeats the purpose, really. Once you add up shipping to the UK address, then shipping to NZ + additional fees (like repacking fee, say, to reduce volume of the parcel for those wee parts that come in a huge box, of $4.50).

The pricing schedule is, from the UK:
International postage is calculated as NZD$12.50 per parcel, plus NZD$4.75 per 500g.
The minimum chargeable weight is 500g and is charged in 500g increments thereafter.
The chargeable weight of your parcel will be based on the greater of its actual weight or volumetric weight (charged in 500g increments).

Hi there
also in NZ -but mechanically illiterate-its time to do the cambelt and waterpump on my late 93 2.i CT -and to reduce costs thought I would buy parts myself - would appreciate it if someone could confirm that the parts on the link are the correct ones [pretty sure but double checking] for my xm.
Thanks Dave

Hey Dave, hands off - I'm gonna buy that one...
Seriously though - I think all 8v are the same? It shows mine as effective as well.
But you'd best to wait until the experts here chime in.
What was the quote for the job done locally, labour and parts? I know some mechanics don't want to touch labour only job as they don't think it's worth the hassle given the parts markups - especially so with PSA parts which has huuuge markup compared to UK/EU as you already know.

In any case, I think XU10 cambelt job isn't all that involved I understand.

Hi Sam
I was quoted 'not much change out of a grand' from Dunedin garage-but that included the parts which he said he ordered from someone in Tauranga?
[ I will check with him asap re labour only!]

That sounds about right - I asked a couple of guys up here, somewhere between 700-900 roughly.
The ebay cambelt/water pump kit is less than $200, so you are talking probably half day labour at $100 per hour rate, I'm thinking.
I think there is an 8v cambelt job guide on here somewhere - viewtopic.php?f=13&t=412
