Flipping Bangers episode features a 2.0i Auto SEi.

Dubbed in french 'Wheeler Dealers' type progrmme...just look at the pictures...

I think they've been reading our tips, especially on how to remove the spheres. No coverage of changing the HA or Acc. spheres, so assume it wasn't done and still riding high at the front. Still a bit 'springy' over speed humps.

Thanks for that Will and just a pity it was not in English. It is also a bit strange that they go to France to collect UK reg. car! I am sure everyone has seen the XM production film and here is one for the CX for comparison
Just check out the field of cars at the end! Regards, Matthew T.

Watched all of that episode Bangers, after trying unsuccessfully to find it in English somewhere.
Looks as if it might lurk (in English) on Sky (catchup).

So, £750 cost, £2500 sell-on.
You're right about the ride height!
That top hose on the V8 Disco looked absolutely shagged...
Some good detail for one of these series.

I have previously seen the episode of that series where they "rescued" a BX, and it seemed to me to be rather stage-managed or fake from beginning to end.

In this episode, the story of taking a car and trailer on a ferry to France on the off-chance that the vendor might accept a reasonable price does not ring true, they would have spent close to the purchase price on ferry, fuel and tolls before even seeing the car!

The original English programmes seem to be on the Freesat 'Blaze' channel...
S1 (included BX and XM) was 2018, I think; S2 started 26.2.2019

" BLAZE, the free-to-air channel which launched in the UK in September 2016, is the first non-pay TV channel from A+E Networks UK and is available on Freeview, Freesat, Sky and Virgin in over 21 million homes across UK and Ireland. It is currently the fastest growing male (sic) channel on Freeview (source: BARB). "

Just found Blaze on our Amazon Fire tv box.

They did a 480 restoration. It was all fake and factually inaccurate.
