Best wishes for your recovery. How frustrating that the diagnosis wasn't made earlier, but sounds like your operation was just in time.

Gosh Paul and that is a really huge shock to hear about your very serious and sudden and dramatic health issues and I am so very sorry and obviously wish you well with the speediest and fullest recovery possible. Of course your family and local friends will be providing every kind of support and it must be especially difficult with work and small child to support and then Covid 19 on top of that! Please do keep safe and cheerful where you can and maintain contact with us all here. As one of the longstanding stalwarts of the Forum we all very much need and value your input and expertise! With best regards, Matthew T.

Dear Paul,

this is quite a thing that is/has happening/ed to you. I hope the recovery is setting in already and you will be back to some sort of normal before the 2 years they gave as a prognosis.
I wish you all the best,

Hans

Re: It gives me great sadness that....AN UPDATE

Post by citroenxm » Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:57 am

Hi all .. I just wanted to give an update on my current siruation...

Yesterday was consultant visit, and I was incredably bowled over to hear that with the course of drugs to control the blood cancer was the end of my second course my consultant told me that I have already fallen into Remission on the blood cancer side of things...

Ive been given a third course of Chemo to continue, but that was great news to hear.

I still have much mobility to work on before Im able to do anything. Once a month I have a Zometa Infusion... for those who arent sure, a Bone Strengthening infusion as the one I have helps destroy bones...

So things are on a positive side. Ive still some way to go yet.
