I do too.. And need to be hopeful. There's a scale on the pressure. Anything over 40 is severe. And she is at 40.. Dunno if its psi or what..
It's not going to be psi...

Oh my almost a year since this was written..

We went in June 2021 for the treatment, and my. God I have never been floored before but the strength of liquid chemo they gave me which was the strongest permitted that I could take and boy it was strong.. I couldn't even lift my arms up.. Hooked up to a drip and the cells put back in...

My stay was meant to be three weeks but I was fully recovered by two and a half weeks and allowed to go home...

So it was a case of recovery for a week or so... While I was on though me hair did depart completely...

But early this year this then happened..

So.. I now just have to follow physio advice and strengthen up some rear muscles which should help with my walking and back pain and we should be all done.

I hope to make the northern and maybe the national rallies this year.

Pleased to hear that Paul, all the while you are improving it gives you a different attitude of mind which is important for your recovery. I had seven and a half weeks of radiotherapy about 4 years ago and didn't feel to bad while I was having it, but for the next year or so I kept falling over but even that's OK now.

Keep doing what you are doing.

Peter

Where's the 'Like' button?

Good to hear you're on the mend, and to see that your hair has come back from its sabbatical

Sadly .. over the last three months my ribs have been giving me severe pains, both sides, which has limited me greatly for getting down under cars to work.. or even sleep

This week, it has resulted, which I had suspected the myeloma has returned, this time on my ribs..

So, the procedures now is to deal with it with liquid chemo and steroids.. ill initially be in 18 sessions of 2 a week to start with. If pains persist I may need radio therapy again..

I'm told I shall not loose my hair this time round. .
