Just browsed across this - XM ahead of it's time?
Nice find, very interesting given the interest in driverless cars now.
Not a huge surprise given the Xm was the first car to have electronic suspension control using, I understand, the most powerful Ecu fitted to any car at the time.
It was the first car of series production to have Satnav, on board computer for passenger use while moving, and the first to use multiplex wiring and networked modules, all stopped due to the costs involved.
