Many thanks Franklin for reminding me about Geoff, who is a very nice friendly chap with other XMs (and Alfa 164s) as you say. In response to Will's comment, I guess the Burgundy car did have the equivalent of VSX trim with the alloy and leather options, but all the PSA 24vs here were Exclusives were they not!! It was also the fact that the French car seemed rather early for that engine option. With regards, Matthew T.

Like all psa v6 24v engines in the xantia and xm were autos.. ONLY in the UK.. others had manual boxs... like the activa only got the tct engine in the UK only god knows why...

we all have different specs so i personally don't find it unusual... the psa 24v engine was out in 1997 in the xantia.. Why is it unusually early in that Xm its a series two car.what year was the car?. France may of got the 24v engine before us....

I really liked the white Swiss one I parked next to on the Friday, I think it was, but the Gold Sable? one is a very nice colour indeed. pity the uk didn't get that....or did we?!

Sable was indeed a colour available from launch in the UK.

Really, I didn't know that. It seems a lighter tone to the usual Champagne gold...like Matthews V6.
I like it. Wouldn't mind one that colour. MMMM respray?!
