Thats more like it! Few more people interested.
Should be a good weekend, it usually is. Though weather is usually patchy.
Speaking of CCC events, is anyone going to the drive next month? Im looking forward to that.

Re: CCC Northern Rally
Ah wondered when this was...
I dont think i will have a car on the road to drive over in, but will make the trip somehow, in fact if i dont have a car i may even get a lift over with me tent and stay a night and get ferried back the next one.......
nothing wrong with the car, just financially i'm broke so running it is out of the question with current running costs
Lez.
still looking for a french drivers seat, and a strong lhm pump for a mk1 v6

Re: CCC Northern Rally
Ive not been on here for a while but hey...a great take up so far Thanks for the offer Chris, id love a ride in your XM.... What are you talking about..tatty? It looks great on the photo
How are we all going to know who everyone is?...Im planning on wearing a french flag T shirt so that will be me
This year im doing the works on the show prep front as last year I hadnt even waxed it as the weather was so poor.
The Xantia is 99.9% ready. The engine bay is done, door shuts are half done, roof and bonnet have been machine polished, the remaining panels will be de- swirled and then polished, stone chips have been painted, and im taking the 14th off to spend the day doing final prep work.
If the weather is not dry this year i will be gutted
Vince
Below is a bonnet and roof shot after machine polishing.....you have to get one they are great

I have two tents....
This one...

is my spare if it could be of use.
Its thin and effectively a poly tunnel, has seperate bedroom areas but its not a artic tent it really is for summer holidays, where upon which the fabric lets all the heat in and traps it....

np i will be there i'm already arranging my lift as my car is still untaxed, and even if i get the money its not in good enough condition to fetch, well it would make it with ease but its looking tatty been stood for so long now.
and i have bits of the dash out with the heater motor/heat issues.
