I take it from that then that the lucas providesa livelier performance.

I dont think our 2.1 is slow though.

Im learning and im NOT a fan of Lucas - but - however, yes!! Lucas gives Livlier performace, Bosch is longer lived and tougher...

This was ALSO the Case with the BX Turbo D... If you had Bosch, which incidentally was the same Bosch Pump as the XM one, it was longer lived but slower... were the Lucas equipt was quicker and briscker...

I think it also helps that the car is lighter than later ones.

As Colin Chapman of Lotus said...Just add lightness..

There is indeed something special that is going to be there. I'm only going to give the two clues in that:

It's something that most XM fans would appreciate and it's early.

That's it. You'll have to wait and see
Just reading back here, but waht was the special attraction? Was it not there or did I miss it?

I beleve it was the S1 24v XM that showed up, albeit not in the cleanest of conditions...

Useually the one model most "Younger" XM owners want, and theres not a lot around, a shortage to say the least...

I wasn't shouting too much but wondered how many eagle eyes there were..

Next year, she WILL be very much prepared!!!!

Hi, there was a lovely `75 CX2000 that had been recently rescued and recomissioned - it`d had only been MOT`d a few days before the rally and the 80mile trip there was its first proper run since last on the road back in th 90s.
