Local village meet

Post by Dieselman » Fri Jul 15, 2011 8:25 pm

On Tuesday evening I popped out to a local village car meet hosted on the cricket field.
To say it was well attended would be an understatement, it's become so popular the Police now attend in force, to control traffic and stop burnouts on the lane...

A small selection of the cars on show..there were lots of bikes as well.

there were loads more interesting cars, so many that they were parked in the field opposite as well, all in about 250 cars on show.

This is without showing the proper vintage cars and all the motorbikes there

Good show. My son has a Capri. We have quite a good one at Colyton in Devon - but without the rowdyness - we don't have that sort of thing down here :D

Beautiful, the sight of all these old cars that transports us right back to old times. The cars look new, well preserved most of the year in climate controlled garages. The people look less well preserved

Looks like a realy good show Will, we have a big one on in september on the beach at Ryde, i have been going since it started 9 years ago, all for a good cause too.

Some Citroens are alright but there are far too many good cars about to just follow the PSA brand.
