I'm guessing you'll be 'slumming it' in the 24v v6 Xantia then Paul?

I'm thinking about going in the XM 24v though it's looking a tad sorry for itself due to the unwelcome attentions
of a sadistic bastard with a key who also gave it a new dent on the front driver's wing. Plus it needs significant
surgery to a festering mess on a damaged grounded sill/jacking point - guess who forgot about their slide in the
ice and snow grounding the sill and only now remembers with a couple of months to go before the next MOT
- will it just stop bloody raining; that's what put me off going to Stratford this weekend. :x

I've actually deferred my "Summer Holiday" so far to do some outdoor work due to the weather being as ropey as
last year's non event - I'm not getting anything done! :(

Yep, the CX/XM is still going ahead for the 2nd weekend in September. There was an advert in the Citroenian last month, so I will scan it when I get home, and post it on here.

I'm looking forward to putting faces to the names of the XM club forum.

I'll be there with the V6, can't make up my mind whether to return in one day or bring my caravan.

Now I've got it working, should I bring my Lexia3/Proxia3 with me?

Hi Derek,

Take the caravan and make a longer stay out of it.

I think bringing the Lexia would also be a superb idea also!

Hi all

Bit of an update as I've not been on here for a while - my XM was belated declared the winner of the Peoples' Concours at the CCC but not until mid September! Seems somehow the voting forms had got mixed up the winning registration number was just two characters different from mine. The declared registration number actually belonged to a Jeep Cherokee I later discovered...

Anyway, I'm still very happy with it and not made a further attempt to sell it after my eBay listing of it during August. Spent £200+ on it yesterday taking it to Westroen to have some sphere replacement done. The difference is brilliant - all the suppleness and compliancy has returned along with spades more agility through the twisty bits. Keeping it until at least a C6 is within range certainly won't be a chore :)
