I've spent the day working on the shed and have now completely ruined the paintwork for tomorrow...but at least it's not got green algae on it anymore.

The sphere tester is in the boot, but I'm not bringing any tools, so it's DIY if you want some tested that are still on a car.

I will have my ELIT with leads for all flavours of XM and Xantias up to but not including the HDi...

If the weather tomorrow is anything like today we will be laughing! I am looking forward to seeing everyone and hope to arrive around 10.30am. With regards, Matthew T.

Not as good for tomorrow.

I've booked no sunshine, so you can't see all the swirls and sanding marks in my paint...

The weather was fine and the company was excellent, as usual. A good day...so good that I didn't get chance to take any photographs at all.

What a day indeed! First can I just say thanks to all those that came along. I found there was one thing wrong though...not enough time! It really did seem to fly-by...

A very encouraging turnout indeed for the second show - in total we had 111 cars though the gates. :D This is up from 83 last year...

This year was more of an equal mix of numbers of cars in attendance and below you can see the run down. Xantia's were the most common this year!

Xantia - 23
XM - 20
BX - 20
Other Modern Citroens - 13
Other Older Citroen - 12
CX - 10
DS3s - 7
Non-Citroen - 6

Regarding the awards, these were judged and chosen by the previous year's winners and also dad, Patrick, although ultimately the decision is with the previous winner - these are also listed below:

CX
1st - CX GTi Turbo Series 1 - Jon Langman's.
2nd - CX 20 RE Safari - Andrew's.
3rd - CX DTR Turbo 2 - - Bob's.

XM
1st - XM VSX TD Estate - .
2nd - XM Onyx - .
3rd - XM SED TD Auto - Rob.

Xantia
1st - Xantia 1.9TD Estate - Neil's.
2nd - Xantia 3.0 V6 - .
3rd - Xantia Activa V6 - Shaun Lilley's.

BX
1st - BX Meteor - Gary's.
2nd - BX 16 TRS - Tim's.
3rd - BX 19 Digit - Franklin's.

The Shed of the Show was awarded to Barry Annell's BX Estate (that's two BXs that have won Shed of the Show now...)

The Special Prize was awarded to Brian Primmer for many dedicated years to CCC Rallies with parts being brought along and advice being given.

Unfortunately I didn't seem to take many photos (just over 40!) but I'll get cracking with the editing tonight and get them posted up. Looking forward to other people's photos.

Good to see faces old and new, spent most of the day chatting and apologies to those I didn't get around to having a chat with.

It did seem to fly by in a flash, but i arrived late for reasons probably well known.....

The foodmarket burgers were pretty good....which is more than Paul (cittoenxm) could say about the pot of tea he got served in the restaurant :P I think they put the wrong type of tea bag in it.....it looked like a small bag of seaweed  .Good job there was enough in mine to go around eh Paul :)

Great to meet up with people again.....i really want to make it to most of the shows this year...learn more about these cars and the people on here ;)

We do all seem to share the same problem though....no-one recognises anyone unless they have met them before :P You see loads of people shaking hands and saying "so who are you then"...me included

Should we post up mugshots of ourselves?

Fantastic day today :D Enjoyed every second...

Great to see everybody again..

Vince, so pleased you made it home safely and that our temporary repair lasted the course :D

Highlight of the day for me was a drive of a certain LHD black V6 with Diravi steering ;) :D
