The CCC X Rally - 7th April 2013.

Post by Duke » Sun Dec 23, 2012 8:02 pm

Image

Following on from last years inaugural X Rally that was a brilliant success, we will of course be holding it again next year. The date, as you can see on the above information poster, is the 7th April 2013 and this once again combines with Burghley's Fine Food Market that is a well represented event that they hold each year.

If you attended last year you will know that we got a brilliant turnout of 80+ Citroens which for a first was excellent. However next year I am sure we can do even better, and in particular I for one would like to see some more Modern Cs at events - all are welcome however I'd like to push for more modern's...

If you're not familiar with Burghley please see their website as it is a very interesting place in it's own right.

As it is early days I will keep this thread updated when further details come to light.

Thanks!

The X Rally is of course for the X Models Paul however as with all events everyone is welcome...

There's been a fair amount of interest Modern Cs wise and its a shame there's not enough interest to hold a rally of their own. Admittedly this could potentially turn into another National however the main attendees of this X Rally will be the Xs... :)

I parked next to a series 2 C5 today and found it's slightly longer than the XM.

I shall be there :D

Not sure what yet, a Xantia most likely.

The original C5 is just about the same length as a XM hatch, the facelifted C5II is longer again and the Germanic C5III is ever so slightly longer again. All are very much wider!
