Ok.... so I now have another 12 months MOT... and so does the XM ;-) So I'll be there on Sunday in the XM.

Just the Sunday I think Matthew. Apparently there's nothing planned for the Saturday otherwise I would have been tempted - a nice convoy run or something would have been good however seems not. Also historically a higher attendance on the Sunday too...

Even though I leave my black Xantia under a tree at work, when I get to it evening time I could cook an egg on it.

I suspect the availability of aircon has driven sales of black cars up significantly.

Black cars are typically 30c hotter inside on a sunny day than white ones.

Went along to the National Rally today and it was a great day. Good to see friends old and new, however as seems to be the usual case I most certainly didn't manage to get around to having a chat with everyone! One of the highlights of the rally was most probably successfully getting the three Black C4 Coupes in attendance - good to see you again Peter and nice to meet you Davie! As some of you may have seen, we decided to have a photo shoot in the adjoining field with the three cars which caused a bit of a stir. :)

Great drive down, going in convoy with dad in his Series 1 XM 3.0 V6 24v, and Geoff in his Series 2 XM 3.0 V6 24v. Those V6s have certainly got the legs on the dual carraigeways however the C4 did well, although I was cautious of the speed as due to my age if I get 6 points it's voila to the license... Either way, though, great trip down and definitely good to open it up...

All in all I thought that the new location for the National was very good indeed. Great location IMO and same again next year would be great!

Above are some pics of the C4s together. While taking some photos I was shocked to get the phonecall from dad saying that the C4 had won the People's Choice award for Citroen's Post 1990. Many thanks indeed if you chose to vote for it - it came as quite the surprise! Also if you voted for dad's XM, too - many thanks.

Looking forwarding to other peoples pics.
