It says on Wicksteed Pk's own website, on the camping sub menu, that all booking must be made in advance and paid via debit/credit card. Whether they would actually turn anyone away is another matter. It does seem to be the ( camping ) industry standard though these days.

Looks like a plan has come together for the National - setting off early on Sunday Morning in convoy which I believe will be S1 XM 24v, C4 and S2 XM 24v...

Apparently the bottom of the campsite has a railway line running alongside it and every morning an oil tanker train runs along it at 03-30 and makes a hell of a racket!! So if you're not a insomniac trainspotter you might want to pitch up at the other end.

Regassing would be difficult as it needs a decent sized gas bottle, and of course valves.

I could bring a pressure tester along, though attendance isn't guaranteed, but Sunday is looking good so far.
