Do not worry Dean, no problem at all. I should have found you earlier in the day, but distractions and all that! ...I Dried off, don't worry!!!

Glad your pleased. Hopefully it will be a finishing touch to add to your hard work restoring your XM. Look forward to seeing it next year.

Did anyone get the RP number of the mandarin 'G' plate 2.0i, which as I recall was registered in October 1989 and slightly older than Neil's car? Regards, Matthew T.

I did look at it, but can't remember it, sorry Matthew. It definitely starts with a 4!

Thanks Russ and I think it was 47-- but perhaps Neil took note. Also did anyone take any photographs? With regards, Matthew T.

I'm sure it had a 7 too. Was it 4771 maybe? I hope the chap who owns it joins the forum. I knew it would be popular at the rally. I do wonder though how long they'll have it for.....

The Mandarin car was an October 1989 car, so very early.

Yes - the "Original" SE alloys with the large Centre Plastic Cap..

The owner and seller are not members hence me trying to help out a bit. Its A big interest for panels for me being manderin and its VERY VERY clean looking indeed. Be a great shame to loose it..

That gives a build date of 1st December Russ so it must have been lower!

Yes Will it was registered in October but I was wondering about the build date?
