It was the DS Rally, not an XM one... ;)

A few notable pictures.

The Maserati Bi-turbo.

Only two SM again. The blue one has Rues Resine wheels and the gold one is a 3 litre with the auto-box changed for a manual.

Just looking through Wills Album, it amazes me that the Car Magazine Pulications never seem to use the cars we all know of year after year..

I know of a Black DS from Practical Classic about 15 years ago that was in a feature..

The car was a DS 23 EFI in Black, reg LYM 309P ... Just checked the DVLA Web Site, its on SORN still.

Would love to see it again..

Nice, it's got leather interior. 8-)

A few years back I bought a nail of a Biturbo, back in 2010 (where's the time gone...). It was a Bi Turbo I - one of the first Injection cars, left hand drive and originally from Rome and then one owner in the UK. Bodywork was rough though, in as much as you could put your hand through the front wing. It had the velour interior which was nowhere near as nice as that leather of Chris' car. 200bhp, 0-60 in 6 seconds and twin turbos was very nice though. Sold to an enthusiast that used it for spares...

Only pic I can find, link.

Will, lovely pictures. At least you took some of the XMs there!

John, the old boy on the gate with fag on the go, is a great bloke and a real character. He questioned the engine in my XM too!

I spent quite a time on Saturday nattering to him...

Hi everybody,
nice to see old friends there and put faces to names what a glorious day also got sunburnt! there were some very nice cars on display including one like in the "Mentalist" Traffic on the m1 was a pain and the unwanted 60-40Mph limit was a joke. but a Excellent day. :D

Norman.

Great collection of photos Will. I love those SM alloy wheels, the car just needed to be in the colour next to it...but without the American nose!

There were some stunning DS's there....you missed a good rally Jaap.

At least you made it into the Photo's and your friend was aptly demonstrating why a Safari has a drop down tailboard.

Hopefully, we'll be seeing you at CXM if not before. You will fit right in as you seemed to be dealing with the beer in the correct fashion.
